The Origin
In the European landscapes, where innovation and tradition often intertwine, the spark was born that would, years later, illuminate TRINERGY's journey. This origin is rooted in the stories of two renowned entities: TRITEC and the DGE Group.
In 1987, Switzerland witnessed a revolutionary milestone in the energy industry. Led by visionary Giorgio Hefti, TRITEC erected the country's first photovoltaic plant, an achievement that not only put Switzerland on the renewable energy map but also established TRITEC as a pioneer on a continent known for its innovations. Over the years, this company solidified itself as a reference in Europe, always at the forefront, pioneering and innovating in the photovoltaic energy market.
Less than a decade after TRITEC's monumental achievement, in 1996, the German lands of Freiburg saw the birth of "Das Grüne Emissionshaus," or as it is popularly known, the DGE Group. Founded with a clear vision, the DGE Group positioned itself as one of the first issuers of energy investment funds, offering the market a comprehensive proposal that encompassed everything from development to financing, construction, and operation of renewable energy projects.
Together, these two energy powerhouses formed an unparalleled synergy, built on pillars of innovation, passion, and an unwavering commitment to a more sustainable future. The merging of their strengths and expertise was the prelude to TRINERGY's grand journey, which would emerge years later as a force to be reckoned with, not only in Europe but in distant lands, in the vast expanses of Latin America.
Expansion and Consolidation in Latin America:
In a continent characterized by its natural diversity and wealth of resources, TRINERGY found the ideal setting to trace its upward trajectory of innovation and leadership. Latin America, with its vast energy potential, became the stage for the company's bold expansion, marking a new chapter in its history.
The year 2011 witnessed TRINERGY's visionary decision to establish roots in Chile. The creation of the Chilean subsidiary, "TRITEC-INTERVENTO Group," represented more than a mere geographical extension; it symbolized the beginning of the company's journey in adapting and applying its innovations in Latin American lands. A few years later, its achievements in Chile stood out on the continent, with the construction of record-breaking photovoltaic plants, reaffirming its position as a leader in the sector.
But TRINERGY didn't stop there. In 2016, in a strategic move, the company emerged as an independent entity, focusing exclusively on renewable project development. This refinement of its vision and mission allowed the company to accelerate its expansion, solidifying its presence and influence in the region.
Brazil, with its vast territory and energy potential, was the next logical step. In 2017, TRINERGY took a significant step, acquiring a stake in ECOA, a company specialized in distributed micro-generation projects. This acquisition was quickly followed by the establishment of a TRINERGY subsidiary in Brazil in 2021, further expanding its role in renewable energy project development.
Over the years, TRINERGY not only expanded its geographical presence but also broadened its portfolio of services and partnerships, collaborating with renowned entities and contributing to the sustainable development of the region.
Today, with a presence in six countries and a history filled with achievements, TRINERGY stands out as a reference in renewable energy project development in Latin America, representing the legacy and vision of two European powerhouses and solidifying itself as a pillar of innovation and excellence on the continent.
